Wilson Aquatic Center Temporarily Closed For Scheduled Power Outage

Facility closed until 7:00 PM due to construction work at Wilson High School

Today DPR will temporarily close Wilson Aquatic Center due a scheduled power outage. Visitors to the center will not be allowed access to the facility after 1:00 PM. The site is expected to reopen at 7:00 PM this evening.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will temporarily close Wilson Aquatic Center due to a scheduled power outage. The power outage is necessary in order to install electrical equipment at Wilson High School, which is currently under construction. Visitors to the center will not be allowed access to the facility after 1:00 PM. The site is expected to reopen at 7:00 PM this evening.

District residents and guests may use the Takoma Aquatic Center located at 300 Van Buren Street, NW during the closure. Takoma Aquatic Center is open 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM today.
