DPR's Cooperative Play Program will host their annual Open Houses for new and prospective families for the upcoming 2017-2018 program year.  The Cooperative Play program operates annually from September to May; and is offered for children between the ages of 18 months to 4 years old.

The 2017-2018 Open Houses will be held on February 7 - 9, 2017 and April 5 - 7, 2017.  For the entire listing of open house dates and locations, please visit  Cooperative Play Open House 2017-2018.  Please note, open houses are offered for adult visitors only from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.  Parents/guardians are invited to drop-in at one, or all, of the Open Houses offered.  

Wednesday, April 5, 2017 (from 9:30 am to 11:30 am):

• Columbia Heights Comm Ctr - 1480 Girard St., NW  |  Butterflies (2½ - 4 y.o.) & Caterpillars (18 - 29 mo.)
• * Banneker Comm Ctr - 2500 Georgia Ave., NW (formerly located at Harrison Rec Ctr)  |  18 - 29 mo.
          * Please note that the cooperative play program originally located at Harrison Rec Ctr, has been permanently relocated to Banneker Comm Ctr.)
• Mitchell Park Rec Ctr - 1801 23rd St., NW  |  2½ - 4 y.o.
• Raymond Rec Ctr - 3725 10th St., NW  |   18 - 29 mo.
• Please note that two (2) Open Houses were offered for these locations.  The first open house was presented on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Please note the following: 

• Open Houses are for adult visitors only; please do not bring children.
• Open House drop-in's are limited to 20 minutes per person/family per site. 
• In the event a parent/guardian is unable to attend one of the scheduled open houses, please contact the Cooperative Play Office at (202) 671-0421 or [email protected] to schedule an individual visitation.  Please do not visit a site on your own, or outside of the Cooperative Play Open House scheduled dates and times.
