Gray, Ward 5 Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie, ANC 5E04 Commissioner Sylvia Pinkney, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), the DC Department of General Services (DGS) and the Harry Thomas Sr. Recreation Center community as we cut the ribbon on the fifteenth Play DC playground.

The design inspiration for this play space was derived from mathematical sequences in nature – specifically known as the Fibonacci sequence which is a spiral design. As you and your family enjoy this space, be sure to look for patterns throughout the park. You might be surprised at what you find!
