2023 DPR Summer Camp Fees - DC Residents

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation makes every effort to maintain low-cost summer programming for DC residents.

Before and After Care Registration

Before and After (B&A) Care registration will open after registration for camp is complete. If you secure a spot in a DPR Little Explorers or Discovery summer camps, you are guaranteed a space in Before and After Care.

Before-care is from 8 am to 9 am, and after-care is from 5 pm to 6 pm. The cost for B&A is $20 per session and cannot be split.

Payment Information

• Once enrolled, payment is due April 25, 2023
• Payments can be made online using a credit, debit, or gift card that has a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card logo.
• Payment plans are not offered for DPR Summer Camps.
• Non-profit agencies and the DC Department of Child and Family Services should contact the DPR Registration Office or Summer Camp Office directly for registration and payment instructions.

Reduced Rate Information

Please visit the Reduced Rates Information Page to access the reduced rate application and to view the qualifying household income levels and the necessary documents required. Apply by April 1 to be sure your application is processed by the start of the summer camp lottery.

Refund Requests

• All refund requests must be received by the DPR Registration Office by June 1, 2023. 
• There is a 10% non-refundable processing fee for all camp registrations. 
• Refund requests must be submitted by completing a refund request form.
