DPR Learning Hubs

To support students' continued learning this summer, Mayor Muriel Bowser has launched Learning Hubs for DC students. With support from DPR and DCPL

Learning Hubs provide families in the District with safe spaces for their children to engage in supervised independent activities. These spaces will provide students with access to internet (and devices in some locations), and offer recommended independent activities based on age group and host site. This Learning Hub will serve students who are rising Kindergarten through 5th graders.

DPR/DCPL Learning Hubs will operate out of the following locations.

Anacostia Neighbordhood Library
1800 Good Hope Rd SE
Monday -  Friday - 3pm - 6pm

Barry Farm Recreation Center
1230 Sumner Rd SE
Monday -  Friday - 11am - 2pm

Lockridge/Bellvue Neighborhood Library
115 Atlantic St SW
Monday -  Friday - 3pm - 6pm

Benning Neighborhood Library
3935 Benning Rd NE
Monday -  Friday - 11pm - 2pm

Hillcrest Recreation Center
3100 Denver St SE
Monday -  Friday - 11pm - 2pm

Woodridge Neighborhood Library
1801 Hamlin St NE
Monday -  Friday - 11am - 2pm

Families can sign up today!

Advanced safety and mitigation measures will be in place at all locations to keep our Learning Hub participants and staff safe. Drop off and pick up will occur outside of the facility and building access will be restricted. Staff will wear face coverings at all times, and participants will be required to wear face masks when medically and developmentally appropriate. Student participants will be seated at least 6 ft apart from each other during structured activities. Additionally, there will be no more than 10 people in each group. Enhanced cleaning of the building will occur between sessions.
