S and T Streets Parks Park Improvements and Dog Park

The S and T Streets triangle parks project is the result of close partnerships between DPR and the S and T Streets Parks community. These two triangle parks, are located northeast of Dupont Circle, along New Hampshire Avenue, and 17th Street, NW, intersecting S Street and T Street, NW. These two parks have been heavily used and are in need of renovations. The new designs for both triangle parks will greatly improve the aesthetics and functionality of the spaces.

S Street Park
The grounds of S Street Park were approved in June 2008 by DPR to become the District's first official off-leash dog park. The S Street Dog Park, will be approximately 5,600 square-feet, fenced and utilize a synthetic turf surface designed specifically for dog parks, providing a safe area for visitors to take their dog off leash. The S Street Park will also feature a lighted plaza and seating area.

T Street Park
The new design for the T Street Park features new landscaping, decorative pavers and seating areas. In addition, the site design will help preserve one of the District’s oldest swamp oak trees.
