The play space at Volta Park is located at 1555 34 Street, NW in Ward 2. The site currently includes basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground and a pool.

The design for Volta features new play equipment for younger and older children, new benches, new PebbleFlex safety surfacing, and a refurbished sand box.
How You’ll Move Grow and Be Green
At the renovated Volta Park, exciting new climbing and spinning features let kids MOVE in fun ways. The refurbished sand box provides an opportunity to GROW during imaginative play. Nice shade trees were preserved during renovation in DPR’s commitment to BE GREEN.
