(Washington, DC) – Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that all recreation/community centers, administrative offices, and indoor aquatic facilities will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2018, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
All permitted events will take place as scheduled. All fields and playgrounds will be open.
All sites scheduled to open will resume normal hours on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
DPR will also be closed on these upcoming holidays in 2018:
- Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 22, 2018
- Day After Thanksgiving - Friday, November 23, 2018 (agency closed)
- Christmas Day - Tuesday, December 25, 2018
