DPR Hosts 2019-2020 Co-op Play Program Open Houses

(Washington, DC) – The Mayor Bowser administration and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Kids, Camps and Co-op division announce the 2019-2020 Cooperative Play Program Open House Week for current and prospective families. Open Houses will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 -Thursday, February 7, 2019, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, and Friday, April 5, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Cooperative Play advances youth development using outcome based programming and developmentally appropriate practices in a creative and recreational play environment. The 2019-2020 Cooperative Play program will be offered for children between the ages of 18 months to 4 years old. The Co-op program will operate Monday-Friday, starting September 3, 2019- May 22, 2020, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Registration for the 2019-2020 Cooperative Play begins on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 12 p.m. for D.C. Residents and Monday, and April 22, 2019, at 12 p.m. for Non D.C. Residents.

Parents are invited to drop-in at one or all of the Open Houses on the days listed below. Please note, Open Houses are for adult visitors only (PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHILDREN) and visits are limited to 20 minutes per person per site.
