Headlined by Aquatics Classes, DPR Offers Camp, Sports, Arts and Leisure Opportunities Across All 8 Wards
WASHINGTON, DC) – The Bowser administration and DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today a new season of robust program offerings for District residents as registration for all 2020 Spring Programs begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2019.
Though it may be cold outside, DPR’s spring offerings are loaded with opportunities including a range of aquatics activities in the District’s world class facilities. Classes include Aqua Zumba, HydroPole, HydroBoard and HydroSpin as well as swim classes and free lifeguard training.
Additional spring programming opportunities include DPR's fitness, sports activities as well as unique programming like Hand Dancing, Nutrition Wellness and Book Club.
Information for parents about Spring Break Camps and DPR Fun Days are also available online. Residents will find classes for specific age groups, so all residents can take advantage. The full listing of programs will be available online, and an account must be created for each participant to register for a program, if he/she does not have one already. Users are encouraged to set up an account prior to the registration date. Registration must be completed online. Credit cards will not be accepted at DPR sites.
