(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has temporarily closed Rosedale Recreation Center (1701 Gales Street, NE) due to a police incident in the Rosedale area.  Everyone at the recreation center is safe, parents are being contacted and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) are conducting an investigation in the area.  Once MPD has given the "all clear", parents will be contacted to come pick up their children.

Constituents will be notified when the recreation center re-opens.  The center will be closed for the remainder of today.
