DPR is preparing for the 2017 DC Free Summer Meals Program season!!  

Deanwood Aquatic Center

The Deanwood Aquatic Center is (description needed). Located in the Deanwood neighborhood, this center offers DC Summer Swim League programming, a partner program with YMCA, Pre-school aquatics, Senior swim and more.

Set atop a hill overlooking the Douglass neighborhood, this pool offers residents of Ward 8 a fun way to pass summer afternoons.

If your organized picnic or activity consists of 10 or more participants, then a DPR permit is required.

Dunbar Aquatic Center, located in Dunbar Senior High School, is owned by DC Public Schools (DCPS) and operated by DPR.  Dunbar AC offers an eight (8) lane, 25 yard pool.  Programs are not offered at this facility.

Located in Ward 8, this outdoor pool offers an X lane XX yard x XX yard pool. Register for an aquatic class.   

Located in the heart of the West End, Francis Pool is Washington's busiest outdoor pool.  Whether you are looking to sunbathe, go for a swim, take swim lessons or a water aerobics class, this large pool is able to accommodate activities for people of all ages.

DPR's Urban Gardens Division - Garden Carpentry Course is an annual, free, 3 class course (10 hours total) that typically takes place in April and covers all the basics of carpentry needed to build an innovative urban garden.

Non-DC residents must purchase a swim pass and bring their receipt with them to the DPR pool.

The H.D. Woodson Aquatic Center, located inside H.D. Woodson Senior High School, is owned by DC Public Schools (DCPS) and operated by DPR.

This pool offers residents of Ward 5 a place to cool off during the summer season.

Jelleff pool offers residents of Burleith and Upper Georgetown another option to Volta Park Recreation Center.  This outdoor pool has (1) 25 yard lap lane. Register for an aquatic class.

Just three blocks off East Capitol Street, this peaceful pool gives DC residents one of many places to swim during the summer months.

In partnership with Capital Area Food Bank, DPR provides after school supper meals as a part of the Kids' Café program at select DPR locations.
